About Me
My Design History:
I have always had an interest in the arts... as a child, I loved to draw. (Much of my art was inspired by the world of She-Ra, but that's another story!)
It wasn't until college that I got into graphic design. I started out with an Architecture major, but after discovering Illustrator and Photoshop, I knew that I needed to change my focus. I finished my degree with a major of General Art, which allowed me to explore many different media. From charcoal to computers, I was able to explore and learn. I feel that because of this, I have a more rounded field of design and art experience.
After college, my first job allowed me to explore web design. I learned it on-the-job, and fell in love with the virtual design world. Technology continues to morph, and I strive to keep up. I'm now using CSS for all my web design layouts, which has been a challenge, but it's definitely the right way to go!
Who I Am:
I am happily married with 2 young boys, living in Kentucky. Being a mother has been the greatest challenge in my life, but my boys are so amazing, I'd have to say the challenge is worth it. It's incredible to watch them learn something new, and that happens every day.
My biggest hobby is maintaining my Tribute to Female Action Figures... it needs an overhaul, and I'm working to expand the site in the near future as well.
